Vinelife Discipleship Classes cover a variety of topics and generally run several weeks at a time. If you would like to join a study or have questions, call the church at 706-769-7660.
VineLife is a process of study experiences designed to help you:
- Deepen your relationship with God (through prayer, Bible study and application of the truths of Scripture).
- Strengthen your relationships with others (your marriage, your family and your friends).
- Discover your life purpose and ministry (using your spiritual gifts, natural talents and God-given personality).
- Develop your sharing skills (become an effective witness for Christ and participate in His mission).

RUTH for ALL ages
Sundays January 8, 2012 - Feb. 5, 2012

This is a generation-line study and is for all ages: youth, young adults, median adults, and senior adults.
Themes: The impact of one generation upon the next: recognizing the hidden dangers that threaten the home, and building a lasting heritage.

The Burden and Bitterness of a Barren Life (Ruth 1:6-14)
Holding Your Family Together When Your World Is Falling Apart (Ruth 1: 9-21)

"Meaningful Membership"
The church is a family, and for a family to get along, there has to be healthy relationship. To have a healthy relationship, there must be clear communication. At Briarwood, we want to get to know you and for you to get to know us. Meaningful Membership is a 2-hour class offered 4-6 times per year and taught by Pastor Rick Standard. This class will inform you about our purposes, core values, and essential beliefs. You will see what we are passionate about, what we are committed to, and how we are structured.
The objective of this class is to enable you to prayerfully make an informed decision concerning membership at Briarwood Baptist Church.

DivorceCare

DivorceCare is not a discipleship class, but rather a support group for those who are separated or divorced. The group features video advice from experts such as H. Norman Wright, Kay Arthur, Larry Burkett, Dr. Tony Evans, and more! Topics include: "What Is Happening to Me?", "The Road to Healing", Facing My Anger, Facing My Depression, Facing Loneliness, Financial Survival, Kid Care, New Relationships, Forgiveness, Reconciliation, and Moving On.
