Meets Sundays 6:00-8:00 pm

DivorceCare is a special weekly support group and seminar conducted by people who understand what you are experiencing. Most importantly, you'll learn how to deal with the pain of the past and look forward to rebuilding your life. The class is a combination of videos from counseling experts and a support group. The videos feature advice from experts such as H. Norman Wright, Kay Arthur, Larry Burkett, Dr. Tony Evans, and more!

Each session is "self-contained" so you can begin attending the group on any week. DivorceCare is non-denominational and features biblical teaching for recovering from divorce and separation. There are 15 sessions. Registration is $25.00 which includes all materials. Scholarships are available. Summer 2010 sessions will begin May 16 and end on August 29 . Fall 2010 sessions will begin September 12, 2010.

CHOOSING WISELY BEFORE YOU DIVORCE

"Choosing Wisely Before You Divorce" is a five-week program whose ultimate goal is reconciliation, and is highly recommended for couples whose marriage is in deep conflict, where divorce or separation has been discussed. Before You Divorce provides a starkly realistic picture of what the break-up of a marriage will do to everything in your life - your children's lives, your finances, your emotional, spiritual and physical health. Before You Divorce is facilitated privately between one couple and the facilitator(s). If you or your spouse are considering divorce and are interested in our "Choosing Wisely Before You Divorce" program, please email info@briarwoodbaptist.net. Information about this program for couples will be sent to you and a mutually agreeable meeting time will be determined.

This event is a combination of video and discussion. The video is presented by Dr. Tony Evans who discusses how single adults can find fulfillment. Discussion will follow.
